Day Eighteen

Day eighteen,
life feels like a routine,
no matter how you try,
don't get accustomed to,
harder you try fall,
in it's track, harder it throw,
the pangs of being
distanced from you.
But by now, you feel each,
wave of pain with same
blunt numbness you have felt,
when first this pain hit you.
You know deep inside,
the intensity is increasing,
by the sounds or vibes of it,
But the feeling fool you or
you fool the feelings.
But that's how you fall
in discipline, in the routine,
by the day eighteen.
But also, you remember the words
of your preacher who told many times
Beware of Routine, they are fatal,
they kill the life slowly and steadily.
you smile and think of her
and think will she smile too.
